Tear the hair out

For 4 1/2 years I have been ordering supplies, working with training requisitions (both use the same system), attaching appropriate files for approval. Had it down to a science, routine. Last year training started having someone else do the training reqs, great-one less thing I have to do!! Except now that person has moved on, so it comes back to me. No problem, I go to do it the same way it has been done, except the file won't attach. A 'connectivity' problem between the system and where the file is stored. Uh, WTH? I call the help desk, no real help there. Ok, if is a system not connecting, do it tomorrow. (this was yesterday). Tried again today. Same problem, ok, not a connectivity problem. Call our MITs people, leave messages for HELP!! Get messages and calls from the training people to get these reqs done. I have already told them I have having systems problem. Finally in passing told a manager, and low and behold got the help.

But why oh why, weren't we told of a systems change? I have attached a file of the same under pdf before now it has to be a zip file. 2 days to get an answer. 24 hours wasted. Yeesh!! If the message had said, .pdf file too large, must use zip file. Then I could've asked someone for help with that right off. Of course that would have been TOO EASY!!!!!

At least it is FRIDAY!!!!

And the rest of the supply move will have to wait until Monday. My asthma is acting up. TG for extra prednisone, doc prescribed on purpose!! Saved trip to ER last night. Scared both B and me!
