Thursday!

Peaceful day here. Yesterday, OPM-Office of Personnel Management decided that the DC Metro Area was going to be hit with enough bad weather that we could be allowed to go home early if we wanted to use our own leave. I stayed at work. Not many did. Uh, i don't know if any roads froze last night, don't know if north of us got any real snow-in DC we did not. Spoke to some people and they said had some rain mixed with snow, but no accumalations. So big panic over nothing.

That's ok though. I am still here. Nice and quiet on the Eastern Front!

I am almost done with the prayer shawl I am making for the coworker with cancer-found out that it is a combo of colon/liver cancer, Stage 4. Prayers and good thoughts for her please, she is a real good person.

When that project is done, I am on the hunt for a knitted project for my daughter. B's sweater is going to be on hold until yarn comes in. The yarn lady responds to his emails not mine. I don't think that I will be buying anymore from her!
