Well, it went well. The ultrasound blasted the stones into little pieces that can be passed easily.

Kid called. It's the only time I've ever heard my non-drinker sound drunk. He was loopy as all get out. They gave him valium and then knocked him out completely. He was maudlin as a long time drunk and going on and on about how much he loved me. Somewhat embarassing (smile) But at least he's going to be fine. No surgery needed.

His girlfriend has already started all the necessary TLC. He's going to be sore for awhile, but nothing compared to what he was experiencing before the proceedure.

LIfe will now start to slowly get back to normal again.
