Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

And Later... (But Shows up First on the Entry List)

Now it’s 11 p.m. Ken got back, and we went out to a nice Chinese buffet. They had exquisite fried won tons with cream cheese filling. I love those things. Afterwards, we went to a mall for the heck of it, found the Barnes & Noble I’ll be hanging out in tomorrow while Ken’s working, and considered going to a movie, but they all started more than an hour later. We ended up at a Friendly’s for ice cream. Service was terrible, but it was lovely just to sit and chat about everything and nothing. We considered a movie again, but decided we’d be better off lounging in the room and getting an early night. (We’re succeeding on the lounging, but “early night” is looking less likely…)

I have a small problem with AETW. I finished the scene I was working on, and now I don’t know what comes next. I know stuff that comes at some point, but not next. Argh. I’ve never really had this happen to me before, to be honest. I usually _think_ I’m not going to know what’s next, but when I get to it, I figure it out. Eep.
