Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Wrapt

BH: 387

Had my neck and back popped this morning and had the after-massage, both of which are Always Good. I’m really amazed at how long I lived in chronic pain. I’m amazed that my right shoulder doesn’t hurt constantly. Good things to be amazed about.

Anyway, after that I went to a store that sells wholesale/close-out stuff like knickknacks and candles and, well, stuff like that. Bought a lot of stuff. Can’t talk about it, because it’s all Yule-present-related. I’ve informed Ken that part of Sunday will involve present-wrapping.

Been catching up on various projects and e-mails, which is always good. I’ve been e-mailing my friend Dave back and forth all evening. He’s working in Hawaii and there’s not much to do right now. The best part is, he’s on a web cam that’s updated every five minutes. So I can spy on him and see if he’s e-mailing me. Heh. He’ll be in LA for about 7 hours later this month, so we plan to take him on the “Buffy” tour.
