Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Heaven in your heart

Angel’s Melee was fun, and I handed out lots of flyers for Black Oak Lodge, an upcoming annual event that our old shire, Darach, holds. I’m helping out with publicity for the event. We went out to dinner with a bunch of friends and suckered Eoghan into telling the Peanut Butter Knife Story, the Birthday Cake Story, and the Nuclear Barbie Story (even though he said it would take too long). We absolutely must get a video camera and get these things taped for posterity.

Today we took Genna and Brhiannon on the Buffy/Angel tour, with the Charmed house added in; lunch was at Baja Fresh and supper was at Versailles. We got home in time to watch Charmed, and I’ve done a little Sage work, and we’re lounging.

A good weekend, although I’m feeling very behind because I haven’t had much of a chance to sit at the computer! Ack! But Ken will be away Wed – Fri (boo, wah) and that does give me extra time to catch up with life.
