Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

New habit

BH: 500

Wow, despite a headache, an extra-long chiro appt and errands, and helping folks sew from 7:30–11:30, I managed to copyedit and write yesterday! Whee! And I could’ve written more, but it was late and I was cold (which I suppose was a nice change from it being so bloody hot) and I wanted to snuggle with my honey.

So today, I think, it’s time to start adding a new habit to the mix: Writing earlier. Leaving writing ‘til the end of the day is a bad, bad habit, and unprofessional to boot, in terms of not making the writing a priority. If I were willing to swap my life around and write at night, it would work fine, but I’ve tried that, and it interferes with my relationship, one of the few things more important to me than writing.
