She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward

Motorcycling for creativity

Saigon (working title): 556

Very tired, soon to sleep. Just wanted to say that long motorcycle rides are great for the creative mind. The antho story I’ve been mulling over suddenly hit me—characters, plot, conflict, the works—_finally_. I even had all the scenes in my head. The downside, of course, is that I couldn’t get anything down until we got to the motel. I promised myself 500 words before I collapsed, and I got that, and I’ll keep going over it all in my head so I don’t lose it. The deadline is the 31st, so I must bustle.
