Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Warping spiffiness

Hell’s Belles: 580
exercise: 25 CT, 1 abs

Today just flew by. I slept late because I was up late, got some stuff done, went to a gyn appt (according to their records, I lost 9 lbs in the past year. Spiff. Blood pressure is normal. Also spiff.), came home and did stuff, exercised, and went off to a Textiles Guild meeting, where we warped a table loom. Totally cool! I can’t wait to warp my floor loom. I’ve become such a weaving geek. Then I came home and watched some TV with Cat (we fast forwarded through the American Music Awards, just watching performances by No Doubt, Sting, and Evanescence, and pausing for a couple of train wreck moments).

I talked to Ken as well. I’m glad I didn’t mention yesterday the possibility of him coming home early, because it turns out that although he probably is coming home early, it won’t be as early as we originally thought. (Follow that?) It’s looking like the middle of next week, as opposed to next weekend, and that’s happy enough.

Cat vacuumed the house while I was out tonight. That’s it. I’m keeping her.
