Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Away away

Most of today was spent away from home. Meeting with financial guy, chiro appt, Costco. Home for lunch and some e-mail checking, etc.; also time for me to try and shake the headache I’d woken up with. Hours of fruitless, tiring shopping at mall. Did not find shoes. Hate shopping. Hate knowing what I want and not being able to find it. Home for supper, then off to A&S meeting. We were the only people who bothered to show up, so I’m glad we went. Now it’s 10:30 p.m. and we’re going to bed. Maybe I’ll be productive tomorrow. I really hope so.

So I’ll say goodnight and end this foray into my suddenly boring life.
