Inexplicably, I keep forgetting to mention that I’ve been asked to be a Lady-in-Waiting on Their incoming Majesties’ Court. I’ve never met them, so this will be an interesting experience overall. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, and although this probably isn’t the best time in my life for it (I’ve already warned the Chamberlain that I won’t be attending many events during the summer), I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be able to help out a lot towards the end of the reign, too.
