Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Mostly nothing

Another very lazy day. Slept in, then hung out in our pyjamas and watched “The Princess Diaries,” which I’d never seen. Amusing, and the sequel looks fun, too. Played Uno with Fiona, and watched “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” on TV. Went out for supper at a Chinese buffet, then rented more movies. First was the remake of “Freaky Friday” (the original was one of the first movies I saw in a theatre, along with “Benji); this one was quite well done. After Fiona went to bed, we watched “Calendar Girls”, which was a lot of fun. I do love Helen Mirren. Damn the filmmakers for making Britain look idyllic. Scott went to bed after that, and Sarah and I watched some Larry videos, but she had a headache, so we went to bed early-ish. I hope she feels better tomorrow.

I did a little computer cleanup but not really any writing. Ah well.

A long rambly entry about mostly nothing. Thanks for sticking with me, pets.
