Blocks of time

G4 computer is now set up, and files have been transferred, so Afalwen is back to being my writing-only computer. Not a huge thing, but one step closer to being settled.

We went through the house and made a comprehensive list of all the work we want to do. We prioritized only the most important things: those to be done before the housewarming party, and those next on the list. There’s a lot to be done…eep…but it’s all going to be so worth it!

I did some paperwork for Harvest and Black Oak, and am trying to get sorted up here, but it’s going to be a process. One small step at a time, I supposed.

Speaking of processes, we’re in the process of doing 5 loads of laundry. This is what happens when you don’t wash the sheets and guest towels immediately after you have guests, and then you go to War…

I remember what I did on Saturday at the War! I helped with Court, for about 3 hours! I feel better now.

Wrote 6–700 words on a story for phobos.net’s Vale and Mist serial. The deadline is the 15th of every month, and I’ve been dragging my heels on getting started. I like what I’ve got so far, though—I think it’s appropriately silly.
