Words Written: big fat zero

I got up early today because I wanted to get some writing done before I went out. Alas, it was not to be. [grump]

I spent the afternoon at Morgana’s, helping her paint the trim in her glorious meditation room. A mutual friend, Pat, painted a mural all around the room, of roses and daisies and blackberries and ivy and holly and trees and clouds and a tiny owl and some bugs and a stunning Pictish standing stone. Morgana’s been meaning to finish the trim forever, so this was a happy occasion. There are two small spots she’ll hit again tomorrow, and then on Friday we’ll haul Ken over to be brawn and move all the bookshelves in.

Afterwards, Ken and I went out to dinner with Morgana and Brian. I suggested BJ’s, because all I’d eaten all day was leftover pizza, and I remembered the tasty Mediterranean chopped salad I’d had at BJ’s. And I had that again (brought some home for tomorrow, even!), along with some shared avocado wrap appetizers.

Then M&B came over to watch some “Buffy”, as they’d not seen the last four episodes! We watched two (mmm, Faith. mmm, Spike), and ate limoncello cake that they’d brought.

Our Internet connection crapped out again tonight, so I’m in the bedroom with the laptop. No real reason to be in the bedroom, other than it seemed like the place to be right now. I’m exhausted, and I planned to write, but I was trying to sort out some pictures, and now my brain is fuzzy. I think I’ll get an early night’s sleep and an early start tomorrow. The only thing on my schedule besides e-mail is writing, and then the Shire meeting in the evening.

And I’ll post this, and yesterday’s entry, whenever I have a bloody Internet connection again!
