Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Dude. Buzzing.

Words Written: “Love Makes the Universe Go ‘Round”: ~2000?; AETW: 349

Hied myself off to B&N this afternoon, despite major sleepiness (I seriously considered a nap, and ya’ll know how bad I am at naps) and, buzzing from a mocha frappucino, finished the draft of the DL antho story. Hard to tell how many actual words I produced, because I bastardized some from, believe it or not, an unfinished erotica idea, but it’s 3K long, total. It needs more setting/description, and a little cleanup, but I’ll do that tomorrow. I’m well ahead of the deadline—go me!

I had planned to go there earlier, but the network connection was actually being strong today, so I focused on cleaning out my In Box and Drafts folders, and other random Internet work. ‘Course, it’s down now, this evening.

Ken’s job is being suspiciously like his old one before we went to the UK. It’s after 7 p.m. and he’s not headed home yet. Yech.
