Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Positive Energy, or, What I Like About You

I believe that positive energy can be spread and shared, just as negative energy can. (Negative energy seems to spread easier/faster, and I don’t know why, but that’s neither here nor there right now.) Right now, I believe we ought to spread some positive energy. I need some personally, and I think Britain could use some as well.

I’ve nicked this idea from an acquaintance’s journal and altered it slightly. It’s not a me!me! (which is what I call memes, because all they seem to be about is people jumping up and down and shouting “look at me!”, and I hate them), but rather, if you will, a you!you!

So here it is: Post a note in the comments, and I will say something nice about you—something I like about you, something I respect or admire about you, something I might not normally get around to saying and ought to. I have wonderful, amazing friends for whom I’m truly grateful, and I want to be reminded of that all day long today (and as long as you want to ask for it!).
