A SPECIAL Memorial Day Presentation.

Here is Jim Farris.

JF: Hello, I’m Jim Farris, and Happy Memorial Day from all of us at ST. In honor of this holiday here is our own Connie Chung interviewing film clips of George C. Scott as “Patton”. (From Feb. 3rd, 2004)

This is BREAKING NEWS from Silly Thinking.

From New York here is Connie Chung.

CC: Good evening again.
The results are almost all in and here are the results as they stand now as they are almost all in.

New Mexico goes to John Kerry who racks up 5 impressive wins tonight.

South Carolina goes to Ed Johnson who is a popular favorite son of... his mother.

And Oklahoma! With all that wonderful choreography by Agnes DeMille and Rodgers and Hammerstien's timeless music and lyrics seems to be a tie between Ed Johnson and General Patton; even though Patton has declared himself the winner.

We now interview film clips of George C. Scott as Patton live.

CC: Good evening General.

GCS: So do your best. So one day when your children ask you what you did in the great world war two you won't have to say '...well I shoveled shit in Louisiana.'

CC: Thank you General. How does it feel to maybe have won one tonight?

GCS: I'll be proud to follow these wonderful boys into battle any day any time.

CC: General, do you think you can compete with John Kerry in primary after primary?

GCS: You don't deserve to be in the same room with these brave soldiers. Get him out of here. He makes me sick.

CC: Strong words, General.

GCS: Tell Ike we should fight the hun everywhere. God damnit. Don't marginalize me. Use me.

CC: Thank you film clips of George C. Scott as Patton.
Well there you have it ladies and gentlemen. The general takes an Oklahoma victory even though it's to close to call by any sane man or woman and Kerry takes New Mexico.
Be sure to join us for more election news this Saturday with complete coverage of the Washington state and Michigan primaries where Doctor Dizzy Dean must win at least one primary before he burns up and crashes like the UFO's over Roswell New Mexico in 1947.
We'll see you then and anytime news breaks.
Until then, or maybe because of it, I'm Connie Chung. Goodnight.
