My very good friend Doug and me had set this date (Saturday) to see the new Michael Moore documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11”, in it’s second day in release. It turns out several left wing groups bought blocks of tickets all over the metro area for the entire weekend, making the film number one at the box office for the week, a virtual sellout, and impossible to see. We went to the Avalon Theatre and Arcade instead.

This works just as well.

“Scooby Doo 2” is the sequel to last years “Scooby Doo” and finds the gang fighting the oppression of the oppressive “old geezer” played by Peter Boyle (Sadaam).

Scooby and Shaggy ( Bush and Cheney) fight a wrong headed battle for dominance over the “Monsters” (Shiites) in “Coolville” (Iraq) killing many monsters and almost killing the gang in response to earlier attacks in “Scooby Doo 1” (9/11).
The filmmaker show Scooby and Shaggy as incompetent boobs who do everything wrong, instead of collecting clues for example, Scooby just steals things he likes (Sadaam’s pistol on display in the President’s office), it’s all verified and true, it just seems partisan and one sided. Still powerful portrait of one man and a dog as interpreted by an artist who has an agenda.

Doug thought Velma (Laura Bush) was hot hot hot!
