Road To The Conventions.

Here, filling in for Connie Chung who is on vacation, reporting from our New York World News Headquarters in New York, is Garrick Utley.

GU: Good afternoon. Last month, in the weeks leading up to The Democratic Convention, Silly Thinking produced "The Road To The Conventions" a retrospective on how John Kerry became the Democratic Candidate for President.
We wanted to do the same for the Republicans, now that thier conventions is just two weeks away in New York. But George W. Bush has been thier candidate all along and there has been little news on the process of his getting to the Convention.
We did find this Breaking News Report when it was clear John Kerry was going to be the Democratic nominee.
This was the moment we knew which two men would be running for President of The United States from the two major parties:

THIS IS SILLY THINKING BREAKING NEWS:

BUSH CALLS KERRY

Here from Our New York World News Headquarters in New York is Connie Chung.

CC: Good evenning again. Within the last half hour President George Bush, a Republican, has called John Kerry, a democrat, and congratulated him on his wins tonight. An extraordinary move for a sitting President to get up and make a phone call.

CC: Former President Gerald Ford is at our Presidential Phone Calls desk.
President Ford, how unusual is this?

GF: Maury, I don’t remember a President in the history of the phone ever making a call to another candidate on Super Tuesday night that he was not involved in.

CC: What? What did you say?

GF: Barbara, in the history of super phones I don’t remember ever making calls that I made to other candidates, that I was not involved in on Super Tuesday.

CC: Thank you, Ike.
This just in from Ohio:
It turns out that even in his home state Dennis Kucinich the elf like candidate is still a zero. He is coming in a distant third in Ohion. In a shocking twist to an already sad tale, Kucinich is failing in Cleveland, the city where the little man was mayor, and yet even here his numbers are so low they aren't even registering on the graph at all.
We’ll be back with more Super Super News from Super Tuesday here on Super Thinking.

This has been SUPER THINKING BREAKING NEWS.

Jim Farris presents Super Thinking with Clark Kent.
All super. No Kryptonite.
