STNews presents

This is an ST News Update.

Here, from our New York World News Headquarters in New Jersey, is Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning, this is an ST News Update on the impending volcano eruption at Mt. St Helens in Washington state.
Joining me now, from near the mountain is Silly Thinking's Jim Farris. Good morning Jim.

JF: Yeah, maybe for you. We just spent the night in our van.

CC: Yes, Jim, you were evacuated from the observation post yesterday.

JF: Right Connie, we were evacuated to a point about 6 miles away from the volcano and the alert level was raised to three, which means a blast is imminent. So were in our van. All night in the van.

CC: Sounds rough.

JF: Well we all got up at three a.m. when another wave of harmonic tremors took place, but then the mountain went back to sleep. Scientists say they are expecting a major eruption at any time, though.

CC: So your on alert.

JF: Yeah, alert. This morning some kids, punks, inbred mouth breathers, shook the van and yelled and screamed. We woke up out of a sound sleep and started the van, running over all the punks feet.

CC: Was anybody hurt, Jim?

JF: We killed one of them. I would like to apologize for ST News. We should have checked if anyone was standing near the van before we took off. It was bad judgment, and our usual series of checks were not made. It was a mistake. We here at ST News apologize, and for my self, personally, I apologize.

CC: Uhh, OK. Jim, will break in and be back to you if anything happens.
Stay with us.

ST IS!
