STNews presents

This is BREAKING NEWS From ST!

Here, from STSpace Control at The Kennedy Space Center in Florida, is ST Chief Science Editor: Connie Chung.

CC: Good afternoon. Earlier today the Space Shuttle, America's work horse of the skies, returned home safely after four different attempts at landing over the last two days. at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
The shuttle was supposed to land in Florida, but chancy weather prompted the move to California.
This mission is considered a success, even thought the biggest success was patching the shuttle itself up so it wouldn't blow up.
Junior science editor Jim Farris joins me now with some fascinating graphics fo how the landing went. Jim

JF: Yes Connie, good after morning to you. We have done this illustration to show how the shuttle landing was accomplished in the pre dawn hours, early this morning.

JF: Connie.

CC: Good work, Jim. At this hour the shuttle astronauts will be facing the press, and we will have much more on America's Return To The Ground, tommorow with an ST Special Report.
Stay with us and remember ST is keeping the Shuttle hot, all shuttle long.
