STNews presents

This is BREAKING NEWS From ST!

Here, from STSpace Control at The Kennedy Space Center in Florida, is ST Chief Science Editor and Senior ST meteroligist: Connie Chung.

CC: Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Rehnquist has died in his sleep in his home outside Washington DC. This now leaves the single most important Judgeship in the United States to be filled by President George W. Bush, in addition to filling the post left by Sandra Day O’Connor, earlier this summer.
In all probability, these two vacancies filled by this President means, the Supreme Court will even be more conservative than it already is and has been in 150 years of American history.

CC: In news of the relief effort going on in the Gulf Coast:

federal aid is now arriving, almost a week after disaster struck. Many are furious over the lack of basic needs for thousands made homeless by this disaster.A primary concern is at least hundreds are dead in their homes and in the rubble of communities in three states, the bodies lie where they fell as federal relief struggles to play catch up. Disease from rotting corpses, contaminated water, and lack of health provisions, is a real fear as local communities throughout the country and the world send health workers to aid in what could be a massive health catastrophe.
