STNews Update

Here is Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning. It was reported and confirmed yesterday that former head of FEMA,

Michael Brown, hours after he resigned as head of the troubled government agency, was put back on FEMA's payroll at his old salary as a "consultant". He is still being paid as a "consultant" and will be a paid "consultant" when he appears before a congressional committee today investigating FEMA'S deadly slow response to Hurricane Katrina.
What is Michael Brown consulting FEMA about? He is a consultant to the in house investigation of FEMA by it's self. He is consulting on the slow response he orchestrated, gee... I wonder what his findings will be?

CC: After two huge hurricanes, there is a serious problem growing in regards to animals. Hundreds of animals in Louisiana and Texas have been on thier own since the hurricanes hit, Katrina was one month ago yesterday. Many house pets are turning wild and running in packs. But farm animals are in worse shape.

Cows and bulls have been attacking people in remote parts of Texas, and whole heards can be seen by helicopter but not reached on foot. The U.S. Agricultural Department is asking for help on this problem, it is heart breaking to see one hundred cows, isolated, a lack of clean water, and no food, dying and no way to help them, once food could be dropped or gotten to them the larger problem is how to get them to safety. The odd farm animal response has included the attacks by bulls and dairy cows, and geese that seemed disoriented and taking food and water from people on roadways and following them for more. Geese are fierce creatures who never do that, and dairy cows are not known to attack. Just more of the complex problems after the worst disaster in American history.
If you have a humane solution to this immediate crisis contact the Agriculture Department in Texas.
