Today you can find Mary at "Thursday's Thugs" over at Gwen Mayo's blog.

Not that Mary is a thug. In keeping with the theme, she talks about one of our favorite villains Theodotus, a.ka. "The Gourd" a real life Byzantine villain who got up to no good in Four For a Boy. According to Procopius' Secret History, Theodotus, the city prefect of Constantinople, was feared for his ruthlessness, particularly in putting down riots. It was also claimed he practiced magick.

How could we resist elaborating on a villain like that? Well, as Mary explains, we couldn't.
