I always forget to mention the anniversary of my online journal and you'd think it'd be easy, what with it being on tax day. Anyhoo, 8 years ago on April 15th, I decided to start an online journal, and, though I'm occasionally a *very* sporadic updater, I've kept it up ever since. I think I put the first month here on Journalscape, but if you want to see the hand-coded mess that was my very first journal ever, you can see it here. The decision to begin a journal was part being tired of writing the same letters home over and over again and mostly due to Mary Anne and being directly in her sphere of influence :-) Wow, I miss having her around out here! I was lucky to have met her so soon after moving to California. Gotta thank Ian for that!

Anyway, happy belated anniverary "Dear Diary", "Nidbits", "Cafe Rambleflower", whatever the hell you're calling yourself these days!

Not belated, however, are my birthday wishes for one of my oldest and dearest friends, drtboi. Happy Birthday, Todd! Welcome to the palindrome year!
