Oh yes, that's right, a new Flickr set of River, weeks 4 & 5 is up. This one is ridiculously huge, but I have trouble culling.

Today, River and I went to the Post Office (bad day for that), where he was a perfect angel and completely mesmerized by everything (including the bitchy old lady in front of us who kept trying to cut in line because "I only want stamps") up until the very end, when he started screaming. Before that he babbled to me and to his hula monkey toy (which I was glad I grabbed on the way out). He's so vocal these days, it's so cool! He often accidentally says "hi" and has said "wow!" twice, the first time with such wonder and conviction while watching his mobile that it sounded absolutely real (I know it wasn't).

Anyway. He'll never find the PO that fun again, I'm sure, but he totally made it bearable for me. Then we went up to Holly's to visit with my Mom, who got into town yesterday.

I think this was our first solo outing. I am incredibly sore all over from it. I am clearly still recovering.
