Links to the Empire

This is just a brief blurb about links. I’ve noticed that everyone has somewhat of a system when listing links. They either alphabetize, or simply add them as enter life, or family is placed first, or links are listed in order of favorites, or listed according to frequency of use etcetcetc. There was even once someone who used links to profile a woman’s silhouette, but he’s no longer with us except in lightly disguised code names. :)

The manner in which I approach my link list has to do with mild OCD symptoms strictly delegated to Journalscape: I don’t like dangling links. The names of my links have to fit entirely on a line. When I add new links, chaos ensues and links get reassigned to the oddest locations with no logic attached. My eyes just don’t like dangling links. *sigh* No wonder I love Monk. :)

Lest you think OCD is an issue in my life, it really isn’t and I don’t mean to make light of a serious illness because I know it’s serious. You will note that I’m cured, btw. My site now has many, many dangling links. :)

Okay. So why I’m really writing this post is to let everyone know I’ve added *The Empire’s* links to my site – all 1,000 of them. And I encourage you to visit the sites of these talented women, Annetta & Laurie. I don’t know how and when they find the time!

Happy reading! xoxo
