About 6 months ago, for giggles I subscribed to the Caretaker Gazette. I thought, "Why not? I'm unattached. Nothing on the agenda. My life might be enhanced with a month in Spain or France or Wales taking care of someone's pets, etc." You would not believe some of the update ads I receive every single day. Tonight I received this one, and all I can say is "Holy Crapola!" Wait until you see the description of the caretaker's residence.

RETIRED COUPLE ONLY, in good health, wanted for a full-time position in Denver, Colorado. Duties may include but are not limited to light housekeeping, organizing and management, landscaping and grounds maintenance, snow removal, general maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and occasional subcontractor supervision. Must like animals. Some weekends required for house and animal sitting. Large, private and separate 3,500 square foot caretaker's residence provided. Must be dependable, honest and take pride in your work. Salary depends on experience. Background and reference check required. Please email your resume to ________
