Kibbles & Bits

The title of this post pretty much just jumped into my head like fleas on a dog.

Has anyone seen the new Subaru commercials? Were they part of the commercial downpour for the Super Bowl? Anyway, it's the most adorable series of ads I've actually enjoyed.

Then there are the itty-bitty kibble & bits of life to yak about:

I've graduated from Breathing Class and moved on to weight training to complement (or is it compliment? Gah, I will never get it straight) my cardio. Yesterday I did 2 hours of cardio with a combo of treadmill and a recumbent bike that includes arm motion. Whew!

This morning's clinical trial infusion has been rescheduled for Monday morning because CRC (Vandy's Clinical Research Center) didn't have the medical cocktail on hand that has to be flown in from California. This makes one briefly wonder, "Why? How could this fall off the radar?" The rescheduling is no inconvenience for me at all. In fact, I was a kibble & bit relieved to have an easier start to my day.

I've been tired this week and think I know the reason. Instead of driving to Nashville late afternoon Monday buried in insane rush hour, I ended up driving in on Tuesday morning. I live on the second floor of Hillsboro House and had a lot to lug to my room - a lot. Then I dashed to pulmonary rehab. It was all too much. I should've kibble & skipped rehab - there would've been no problem in doing that. This was an easy lesson with no harm done.

Tap, tap, tap. Still with me here? This is pretty boring stuff.

Not boring: I've been streaming Nip/Tuck. Holy donkey-doo!

The phrase *rush hour* needs to be amended to rush hours.

That's it for now. My good friend Wayne Bradshaw approached me this weekend and asked me to write about a certain event regarding my experience with Morocco and Muslims. It's a pretty good story that I hope my words can do justice.

Later!
