Bones

Okay. So I wouldn't blame any of you for being annoyed and asking, "Reenie who?" I think of you all so very, very often.

It's been a while since I've posted or kept up with your marvelous words. The following is the bones of my life the past month or so. I'll give these bones some flesh as time permits. This list is not chronological. *laughing*

1. Fabulous visit to Lake Oswego, OR for Thanksgiving with my daughter and her adorable family. Will be posting a slideshow. So much glorious fun!

2. I have several new subscribers. Thanks! Here is an excerpt from an email sent to me in November. This new subscriber probably wonders where I am. *laughing* "I discovered you accidentally from another site's link - I've become hooked on your life and your writing."

I am humbled and grateful for those kind words.

3. I started a part-time job as an administrative assistant. I can either go to the office or work from home. BTW, my *office* is located in a beautiful custom built home on a bluff overlooking the valley. My boss is AMAZING!

4. I have a new *neighbor* renting the apartment David occupied the past 6 months. She's over-the-top amazing. I pinch myself for my good fortune. She's my new best friend. I'm totally ga-ga.

5. David will be leaving for Ft. Benning, GA on January 10th. I have so much to write about this extraordinary time together - a window of opportunity a parent never anticipates with a grown child.

6. My health is slipping but my spirit isn't. I will most definitely write about this - perhaps post a letter I wrote to my good friend, Judith. I continue to be forward thinking infused with positive energy. I still laugh a lot... Hmmm, maybe that's why I've needed to increase my oxygen! But who wants to stop the laughter?

7. A quick 3 day trip to KCMO to visit family with photos of frivolity.

8. I've been streaming Breaking Bad. OMG. I'm totally addicted.

9. Olivia visited before Thanksgiving and we hosted a beautiful wine & cheese party.

I'm not good with time management but it's been improving because of my new daily activities/routine. I strive to include 1-3 miles daily on my treadmill. I still have lots of work with documenting my art collection. I want to pull together a memoir of sorts. I have a lot to do... isn't that wonderful!
