Just got back from a morning fishing trip and boy was it lucrative. Caught 7 bass, all 18 inches or bigger. The largest was so big and fat i could stick my fist into it's mouth and it weighed about 5 pounds. I also caught 2 sunnies but they don't count. The eighth bass I hooked I fought with for 10 minutes but my new rod and reel wasn't up to the task and he burnt up my new reel. The fourth time he lept from the water I got a good look. He had to be every bit 2 feet long. He finally broke my 8 pound test line. Wish I had been using my heavy duty spinning rig. Don't worry, I only catch and release so all the fishies were fine.
