Why, oh why do they do it?

I recently got "The Truth About Charlie" from Netflix. I *knew* it was going to be bad, but I had to get it. I started watching it and it was like a car wreck. I couldn't turn away from the horror. Thandie Newton is no Audrey Hepburn and Marky Mark is certainly no Cary Grant. I could go on and on about how much it sucked and what a travesty this is, but I won't. The only good thing about the movie was that Charade was on the other side. They had to package the movie with the original just to proove that it had once been a cool idea!

Also, on the radio in the car this morning, they announced that the Broadway musical "The Producers" is being made into a movie with the Broadway cast. Wow - I see one problem with this. It already is a movie!!! A good one!!! It doesn't need to be remade!!!

And don't even get me started on the stupid revisions George Lucas made to Star Wars in the DVD release.
