I recently bought some bath crayons for Marc to play with during his bath. He loves them and we draw together after I'm done washing him. He's starting to know his colors and shapes! He knows blue and red (and sometimes green) and can point out stars (dar!), circles (durcle!), and sometimes hearts.

I think sometimes Marcelo underestimates how smart he's getting. This morning Marcelo was watching him while I got dressed and Marc kept saying "agua" and pointing at this little blue table my mom gave him. Marcelo was telling him, no, that's blue - "azul". I asked, does it have a picture of water on it? Marc knows very well what "agua" is and wouldn't be insisting he saw water if it wasn't there. So Marcelo looked and of course, it was a picture with water in it.
