Talking up a storm

Alex is just talking like crazy now. This morning, I was dropping him off at day care and while I was filling out his sheet (what time he woke up, ate breakfast, etc), I was holding him and he spotted some things his teacher had put aside for arts and crafts (farm animal cut-outs). He pointed and said "My sheep!". He obviously wanted to get his hands on it, so I told him it was for crafts later. He reached for it and said "Have it, please?"

He's also learning how to be polite, but he hasn't entirely caught on. lol He'll say "Tank you, welcome!" or if I ask him if he's done with his food and I'm going to put it away (because he's, say, gotten down from his chair and is starting to run around) he'll say "No, tank!" and want it back. His teacher told me he was trying to get by a younger child who was in his way. As he tried to squeeze by, his diapered butt kept hitting the other kid in the head and he kept saying "'Scuse me! 'Scuse me! 'Scuse me!" LOL I wish I could have seen it. :)
