Shelley's bike, Casper, now sports a swish of blood on one of its bars. That's because Shelley hit a rock (while looking at a cool hanging wooden skeleton on the porch of a general store), and took a spill wherein she lost a lot of skin from her knees, from an elbow, and from many knuckles.

Ooo, but the hydrogen peroxide stings!

She said no pictures, so there's nothing to see, but send her a note of sympathy if you wish.

We left Casper at the shop, for a general tune-up and realignment of some components that got knocked out of whack in the fall. We finished our 35-mile ride (half after the fall), however, so though stingingly painful, the wounds are not debilitating. Just pussey and ugly.
