Just got word from my boss that it's okay to take a leave to participate in a dig. But now I have to run it by the person that I really work for, and see what she says. We have nothing planned for the summer, so I don't expect it to be a problem. But one never knows.

And I did ask about changing cubicles, but the only one available does not seem any better than the current one. Since the beginning of the year, a temporary consultant we had no longer works here, and he had some particularly annoying habits, so things have improved at work, noise-wise, with his departure.

We had one of Shelley's colleagues over tonight to read the Spanish voice-overs for the demo CDs, so they continue to approach finality. (Everything takes longer than expected.) She also corrected the Babelfish translations, which came close, but not close enough. In my quest for perfection, I have to get a software package called SoundSoap to clean the background noise. I'll do that tomorrow -- ride my bike over the Apple Store in Northridge Mall and buy it there.
