Not since the original Survivor show have I had even one iota of interest in any of the so-called reality shows. Then along comes The Apprentice, which for some reason caught me -- perhaps because of the business aspects of it.

The first mission given to the hopefuls was to sell lemonade in downtown NYC and out-compete the other team. I thought the show would have a little more about the thinking behind the contestants' strategies in their various tasks, but even though it does not I still find it interesting.

Tonight they fired the guy I hoped would win: Troy, from Idaho. We're down to four people now, and I'll watch the rest of the shows to see who wins. I may even watch the new iteration to see whether it differs -- if not, that will be enough of it.
