Last night we had a decent rainstorm, and it continued through the wee hours of the morning. The forecast calls for quite a bit more today and over the next few days, and I hope it comes through. It smells so nice afterwards.

Lots of mundane stuff this weekend: finishing the details of the master bathroom remodelling, like cutting trim and sawing a half inch off the bottom of both doors so that they would clear the new tile floor, which is thicker than the previous linoleum.

Gaming on both Friday and Saturday nights with Jenn and Kenny -- we tried the Cheops variation of Settlers, a couple flavors of Carcassonne, and Ticket to Ride and Pirate's Cove. Arrrr!

Thursday we watched Farenheit 9/11, the anti-Bush "documentary." If even half the allegations in there are true then it makes me very sad for the current (corrupt) state of affairs in our government. I'm not convinced that Kerry's much better than Bush, but I'll take the evil I don't know over the one I do in this case.

This weekend Shelley upgraded our TiVo box to one that burns DVDs, so we can save TV shows to disc and watch them on the portable computer, the portable DVD player, or whatever. That added flexibility may come in very handy.
