I've been testing the new pano camera, software, and methods all day. Shooting is fast and the Nikon gives decent results. The pano image stitching software works well -- but only half way.

It relies on a third-party application called enblend to eliminate bands and seems in the final panorama file. That piece, however, ain't working. Rather, it doesn't download correctly -- the uncompression software extracts it but the Mac won't recognize it for an executable despite a few hours of efforts to make it. I'm now totally frustrated and have posted for help on the forum for the pano-making software to see if someone can send me a working copy.

Yesterday we attended a wake for the SO of our dog sitter. He died of pulmonary fibrosis, relatively quickly. Pretty sad.

And of course we have been mourning the vote results from Tuesday. They're even sadder.
