Yesterday was daddy's first time home alone with baby. Mommy wanted to play in a poker tournament, so she pumped some milk and left it in a bottle. That worked well enough, because baby doesn't mind the difference.

While daddy and baby spent most of their time reading or fishing in WoW (finally finding and catching winter squid), mommy was networking at the Writer's Guild and took fourth in the tourney. Go mommy!

In the morning I drove in to CSUN campus for the start of the weekly bike club rides, so that I could make a panorama of all the riders. This is for the latest World Wide Panorama, whose theme is "Energy."

I decided that the cyclist panorama would let me go into how many calories the ride would burn off for all those cycling that day, recommend bike riding for exercise and commuting, plus produce a nice graphic for the new forthcoming club web site.

Indeed it did. I had 59 riders straddle or stand next to their bikes in a big circle around me. I shot the panorama with the new rig, which is working quite well, and stitched it later in the day.

Today I added some functionality to the QTVR file (random opening view, automatic rotation) and posted it to the WWP web site. When they open it to the public, I'll post a link here. I also save a copy of the "unrolled" panorama as a long still shot, which will be perfect for the new web page in addition to the moving panorama.

Now, off to design the mural for our yard wall.
