Thanksgiving morning started early with the annual Dallas Turkey Trot, an eight-mile run for Paul and a three-mile walk for the rest of us. I carried Kelley the whole way, rather than push her in a stroller, simply because we both enjoyed it (though my arms did not at the end).

She spent the whole time looking around at the 40,000 other people as well as the tall buildings downtown, and the occasional pigeon flying over the crowd. We had a nice day there and Jade and Kelley are fun together.

Grandma Stuart arrived shortly after the trot and then Paul fed us a fabulous dinner with both cornbread and hot-sausage stuffing, ye olde turkey, sweet potato pie, garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and Brenda added corn cassarole and we had salad too. Quite the impressive spread and we really appreciate their efforts!

Happy Thanksgiving!

(Notice the only one eating is Kelley?)
