Summer plans have *finally* been worked out for doing some archaeology again this year. It's back to Iceland!

My dates are July 14 to August 11, which covers the latter half of the project. I understand that we'll be continuing the excavation of the famous longhouse discovered in 2001, although there may be other projects running too.

I'll shortly post the travel itinerary details – as well as journal entries written there – in the Iceland journal used for my first sojourn there (and linked from this page).

Internet access should be available daily. Almost certainly I'll use Flickr to post photos this year, given unlimited storage, and high-speed 'net access.
