No trick-or-treaters came to our house for Halloween again this year, making that nine years in a row. We even left the light on, but I think the neighborhood simply lacks kids. Some do live down the cross street a ways, but I've never seen any trick-or-treaters on our street, so it's not just our house.

Anyway... more candy for us! (Yes, we bought some just in case.)

No dressing up either. No parties attended. No nothin' this year, not even pumpkin carving. We did get some pumpkins but got busy during Grandma's visit and never got to them.

Kelley actually stayed home yesterday because she had a fever last night that's persisted, and daycare rules keep her out in that case. Not sure what it was, but it lasted through the day and even today for a while. Seems to have clear up though.

Myzythra did dress up for Halloween, though. Blizzard came up with some more holiday festivities that included taking down the Headless Horseman, who sometimes provided riding brooms as a reward.

Combined broom and pumpkin head.
