At the risk of jinxing our home buying, here's the place we're going to be making an offer on: 742 O'Brien Hill Rd., Harford, NY.

This place meets all of our criteria. We cannot find anything wrong with it. It even has DSL Internet.

We're thinking we'll offer for the basic house+20 acres as advertised, and ask for a right of first refusal on the other 38+ acres and then buy it when the CA house sells. At the moment we're trying to determine the assessed value of the place and what a reasonable offer would be.
