Took the day off for my birthday; slept in; read a book for pleasure; piddled around; relaxed.

Kind of chilly and dreary outside most of the day, but no matter: the fall color's still visible and the house is quiet (mommy and the girls went to daycare / shopping).

For dinner we visited The BoatYard Grill down on the inlet by Cayuga Lake. I ordered bleu-cheese-stuffed shrimp, but by the time they arrived I was already stuffed from five-onion soup, our appetizer of fresh-made potato chips dribbled, with bleu-cheese, caesar salad, and fresh bread. Ate a bit of the shrimp anyway and boy are they yummy!

The rest of the shrimp are for dinner tonight and I'll break open the bag of Italian Black Truffle Almonds! My mouth is watering just thinkin' about them!

Thanks to Brenda and Paul's gifting of WoW time, I *almost* re-activated my account yesterday. But I made my saving throw and will wait a bit longer.
