Up to this point, it has been a lovely weekend. Greg and I went out to a fancy meal and watched a local folk band, Poor Alfred on Friday night. Yesterday and today have been kinda lazy days, with the ever-present grading involved, of course. We've been experiencing real weather - rain, lightning, tornado warnings, lower temps. All in all, it's been relaxing, productive, and cozy.

But now, I'm in a quandary. You see, the Los Angeles Rams are playing the Denver Broncos. Both are vile, evil teams. (Hey, "vile" and "evil" contain the same four letters!) Anyways, I despise them both, clearly. But the Rams are in the same division as the 49ers, so I actually find myself in a position where I should be rooting for the Broncos. My stomach is queasy, my hands are shaky. It's almost like I've lost part of my soul. I'm tormented. There is no right solution to this. Sigh.
