The first of the monsoon storms of the season has rolled in. Thunder, lightning, and rain all dance outside. Of course, the temperature only drops a few degrees, which means it is 108 degrees at 9:00 pm. (But with the added humidity, it only feels like 105 degrees. Ha!)

Monsoons are fun to watch from the safety of our apartment, and they are a welcome break in the monotonous heat and sunshine. Ooh! More lightning!

If I were a single woman, I would buy a cute little Powerbook. Greg gets more comments on his when we are at various and sundry coffee houses. I would put on makeup (egads!), take my Powerbook, and sit anticipatingly.

However, real people use UNIX (or LINUX).

I very much enjoyed the new Harry Potter. My favorite character is Snape, definitely. I hope she works faster on the next two books.
