I've been exercising on a more regular basis and found that only having one disc of a Star Wars soundtrack just wasn't meeting my workout needs. In that way, I sought to justify the purchase of an iPod. Of course, Greg said that I should get an iBook to go along with the iPod. I resisted mightily and that's where the situation stood until a few weeks ago. That's when my trusty HP laptop started wheezing, understandably after the past three years of hard work and hauling around I've done to that poor thing. Greg once again argued the purchase of an iBook, and I relented. This is my first journal entry from my new 12-inch iBook, which shall be referred to as my UNIX machine from this point onward. (Mmmm... vi editor...) And I've loaded all of my Star Wars soundtracks and all of my Nine Inch Nails CDs onto my iPod.

Greg has been eyeing my new UNIX machine covetously. I think he had his own nefarious reasons for this purchase. Bad influence on me, he is. And as of today, he's been a wonderfully fun, loving, edgy bad influence on me for fourteen years. It's been great.
