I know, I've been quiet recently. That's what happens when I write and grade three midterms, write a new lab exercise and revise another one, administer 3 in-class exercises, and grade 5 sets of labs in a period of four days.

Whew.

It's my own fault, though. While Greg was doing writerly stuff out of town this past weekend, I had a leisurely Lisa weekend - I did hardly any work! Let's see, what did I do...I walked home from work on Friday (4 miles). It's a strange urge I get every now and then, and with my iPod, I could pretend I was a Jedi all the way home! On Saturday morning, I walked a charity 5k with friend Steve and then met friend Carl for a nice lunch. I cooked yummy meals for myself involving mushrooms! And, of course, I watched the Star Wars prequel DVDs. It was a very nice weekend, but not as nice as having Greg come home. Yay!

I've had yet another student who looks like he's twelve years old refer to his "wife." Egads. Youngsters these days.

You know, it would be a shame if the Sacramento Kings team of this era never won the NBA championship, because they play the prettiest, most fundamentally sound basketball that anyone has played in years.
