Before I started my roadtrip to the AAS conference here in Minneapolis, I attended the NIN concert in Tempe. The review in the Arizona Republic called it a religious experience. Yes, indeed. I'm so glad I decided to go. The energy was amazing - I'd never experienced anything like it. Addictive, in fact. NIN will be coming back around in the fall, with Queens of the Stone Age. I was a NIN music addict, now I can't wait to see him in concert again. Let's face it, the supporting members are all well and good, but this is all about Trent Reznor, and his presence is overwhelming. I really don't have the proper words to describe it, but as I walked out of the club, a guy next to me said, "I love the energy. Makes me wanna go kill someone." The last three songs - "The Hand that Feeds", "Wish", "Head Like a Hole" - had the whole audience screaming along, and I never wanted it to end.

More! More!
